Galvalume Steel Coil (GL) is hot dip aluminum-zinc coated steel — 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, 1.6% silicon by weight. This metallurgical combination creates a coating that combines the barrier protection of aluminum with the galvanic protection of zinc, delivering 2 to 4 times the lifespan of pure galvanized steel in atmospheric corrosion environments.

Galvalume's silver-spangle appearance and superior heat reflectivity make it the preferred choice for long-life roofing, marine applications, and exposed outdoor structures. Industry life-cycle testing (per ASTM standards) demonstrates 25-30+ year service life in C3 environments where pure galvanized would degrade in 10-15 years.

We supply Galvalume across the full coating weight range: AZ30 (30 g/m² minimum) for indoor/sheltered use, AZ50 for moderate exposure, AZ100 for general outdoor, and AZ150 (150 g/m² minimum) — the gold-standard for premium roofing and marine. Substrate grades match our GI offering (commercial through structural).
