Product Description

Wire Rod is hot rolled steel in continuous coil form, typically 5.5-14 mm diameter, used as feedstock for wire drawing, fastener manufacturing, welding consumables, mesh fabrication, and spring production. Our wire rod is supplied direct from Jingye Steel Group, with consistent chemistry batch-to-batch — critical for downstream operations where chemistry variability causes drawing breaks or weld inconsistency.

We supply low-carbon (SAE 1006, 1008, 1010), medium-low carbon (SAE 1015, 1018), Chinese standard grades (Q195, Q235, 35#, 45#), and specialized welding wire (ER70S-6 with controlled Mn and Si for MIG/MAG welding). For precision drawing and fastener applications, we offer additional inclusion-control and surface decarburization-control specifications.

Diameter range: 5.5 mm (most common) to 14 mm. Coil weight: 1.5-2.5 metric tons typical. Surface options: as-rolled (with mill scale), pickled (for direct cold drawing), pickled-and-coated (with phosphate or borax coating to assist drawing). Coil format: stem-coil (for high-speed wire drawing) or laid-coil (for fastener heading).
